Trend chart comparison

The December update of our Excel-Addin brings the following simple yet effective feature: the trend chart comparison. The trend chart comparison allows to initiate a visual comparison of any values in pivot tables. Since pictures sometimes tell more than words:

In this case, the profit margin of the top four customers is supposed to be compared. The trend chart will open showing how the profit margin developed over time:

Clicking the bar drills down into the month- or day- level.

This feature may be used on any measure and on any dimension.
